Cause Of WWI

One of the many causes of World War 1 is that a Serbian man assassinated Franz Ferdinand. Which gave Austria-Hungry a reason to set war against Serbia. This was one main reason that World War 1 was started. Now because countries had to take sides that is what split Italy, Russia, Austria-Hungry, Germany etc. This made the war bigger and made many people die. Nationalism played a huge role in this because everybody loved their country very much and they defended their country no matter what. So this caused for the people to go fight for their countries and it set forth a War like no other.

Alliances are also what caused a bit of the war. The Three Emperors league were a alliance of Germany, Russia, and Austria-Hungry. The second alliance is of Germany, Italy, and Austria-Hungry in exchange for protection in case a war broke out that Italy and France would be protected.
